Village of Sherburne Public Budget Hearing for 2025-2026 fiscal year

 

LEGAL NOTICE

 

Please be advised that the Village of Sherburne Board of Trustees will hold a PUBLIC

HEARING on January 21, 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Village Hall, 15 West State Street,

Sherburne, N.Y. for the purpose of hearing any and all comments regarding the proposed 2025-2026 budgets for all funds. This PUBLIC HEARING shall also be held for the purpose of hearing any and all comments on the expenditures of funds from the General Fund Reserve, Water Fund Reserve funds, Sewer Fund Reserve funds, and Electric Depreciation funds which have been budgeted for in their respective operating budgets. Included in the Sewer Fund budget is a rate increase to $34.00 per unit per month or $408.00 per unit annually. The annual compensation for the Mayor shall be $12,000.00; each Trustee shall receive $3,600.00; and the Justice $19,200.00. A copy of the tentative budget may be reviewed at the Village Clerk’s office during normal working hours. Please call 607-674-2300 to schedule a review.
