ANNUAL VILLAGE ELECTION

The annual Village election for the Village of Sherburne will be held on March 18, 2020.
Positions open for election are:

One (1) Justice for a four (4) year term.

Two (2) Trustees for a four (4) year term each.

Prospective candidates for the above office must be a US Citizen, 18 years of age or older, and residents of the Village. Candidates may circulate independent nominating petitions between the dates of December 31, 2019 and February 11, 2020. Petitions may be filed with the Village Clerk between the dates of February 4, 2020 and February 11, 2020.

Personal Registration will be held on March 7, 2020 from 12;00 noon until 5:00 p.m. at the Village Office, rear entrance.


Village Board Meetings

The 1st meetings of the month will be cancelled for June, July, August and September. The meetings will resume to two a month in October.

The Eighth Annual Sherburne Arts Festival is June 8, 2019 in Gaines  Park from 10 am – 4 pm.

Pageant of Bands

The 69th annual Pageant of Bands will be on Saturday, June 2, 2018. The parade starts at 1:00 PM.


Budge Workshop

The Village of Sherburne Board of Trustees has scheduled a budget workshop for Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 9:00 AM in the Board Room.

Flushing Hydrants

Village Personnel are planning to flush the Village Water System on the following dates: 4/10, 4/11, 4/12, 4/13, 4/17, and 4/18 from 8:00 PM until completed. We feel that this will cause less inconvenience to our customers and subject them to less roily conditions. If your water does become roily run your cold water until it clears up.
